PLATFORM

Charitable organization «Charitable Foundation «PLATFORM FOR THE RELEASE OF POLITICAL PRISONERS» is a non-partisan association of former Kremlin political prisoners, recognized as such by the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly and other respective bodies. Our main objective is to advocate the interest of more than 70 Ukrainian citizens who have been illegally detained in Russia since 2014, facing inhumane conditions and physical and psychological risks to their health. We work on spreading awareness of the issue among the key decision-making actors nationally and internationally via media, grassroots activism, advocacy campaigns, and meetings with respective bodies.

In the long-term perspective, we aim to facilitate a peaceful resolution of the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
