At the invitation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Ukraine Etienne de Poncins, PLATFORM representatives Oleg Sentsov, Roman Sushchenko, and Ihor Hryb visited the embassy and held a working meeting, which Deputy Ambassador Bruno Cosanel, First Secretary Lucien Tallier and Mathilde Comet attended.

Round table: "How to increase Crimea's presence in Ukraine's information space in 2022?"
On January 27, 2022, in the conference hall of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, Mykola Semena and Ihor Hryb participated in the round table: “How to increase the presence of Crimea in the information space of Ukraine in 2022?”.
Practically in all the speeches of the numerous participants of the round table discussion, it was constantly heard: it is necessary to promote the topic of Crimea more actively both in Ukraine and abroad, where very little is known about the plight of the temporarily occupied Ukrainian peninsula. In the eighth year of the occupation, when a decisive information war continues, the state must respond adequately to Russian propagandists.

Working meeting at the Canadian Embassy
Another working meeting was held at the Embassy of Canada, a strategic partner of Ukraine. Richard Colvin, head of the Department of Foreign Policy and Diplomacy, confirmed Canada’s unchanging course in supporting our country in resisting Russian aggression and fighting to release all Kremlin prisoners.
Richard Colvin also met with Igor Hryb and Igor Kozlovsky from the PLATFORM FOR POLITICAL PRISONERS’ RELEASE. The destinies of the hundreds of Ukrainians illegally detained in the occupied Crimea or the so-called DPR and LPR continue to be held in terrible conditions has been discussed.

The third international Forum on Eastern Ukraine
The work of the Third International Forum on Eastern Ukraine, “Overcoming the conflict in Donbas as a task of different generations: promotion of justice, dialogue, reconciliation”, has begun. The organizer of the Forum is the international coalition of human rights organizations CivilM+. It takes place simultaneously in Ukraine and Germany.

Discussion of the activities of the Representation and Office of the Crimean Platform
Representatives of PLATFORM Oleg Sentsov, Ihor Kozlovskyi and Ihor Hryb met with the Permanent Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Anton Korynevich and his deputy Daria Svyridova.
The participants discussed the activities of the Representation and the Office of the Crimean Platform, the issue of Ukrainian political prisoners, further cooperation with the Representation and joint steps with the government, including the release of Kremlin prisoners, and assistance to the families of political prisoners.

Founding Forum of the Crimean Platform Expert Network
PLATFORM FOR THE RELEASE OF POLITICAL PRISONERS” at the Crimean Platform Expert Network Founding Forum.
The mission of the expert network is related to the mission of the Crimean platform, which is to contribute to the consolidation of international support for the liberation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, the Black and Azov seas from Russian occupation, overcoming its negative consequences, developing and advocating expert work on the relevant topic.
Values of Crimean Platform:
1. Respect for the territorial integrity of Ukraine, restoration of state sovereignty within its internationally recognized borders;
2. Respect for the principles of ensuring human rights and international humanitarian law;
3. Respect for ensuring the rights of national minorities and indigenous peoples, in particular for the realization of the right of the indigenous Crimean Tatar people to self-determination;
4. Respect for the principles of inclusiveness of dialogue and their observance;
5. Respect for the processes of ensuring all-Ukrainian social cohesion and conflict prevention;
6. Support political decisions in the settlement process that do not lead to the risk of subsequent conflicts.

Meeting with representatives of the diplomatic corps of Canada
We thank the Government and people of Canada for their constant support of Ukraine in defending its independence and territorial integrity. Another meeting of representatives of the PLATFORM FOR THE RELEASE OF POLITICAL PRISONERS association with representatives of the diplomatic corps of Canada took place today. Hero of Ukraine Volodymyr Zhemchugov, political prisoners Volodymyr Balukh and Pavlo Hryb discussed with the head of the political department Ruslan Kats the issue of cooperation between the PLATFORM FOR THE RELEASE OF POLITICAL PRISONERS and the Canadian Embassy in the protection of human rights in light of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

Joint call of the "Lublin Triangle."
As a result of the concentration of the armed forces of the Russian Federation, the parliamentarians of the countries of the “Lublin triangle”, at the initiative of the Polish side, decided to demonstrate solidarity and express a joint call for respect for the norms of international law. In this regard, on April 20-24, 2021, the Deputy Marshal of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, Ms Małgorzata Gosiewska – Poseł na Sejm RP, visited Ukraine with a delegation. This visit demonstrated solidarity with Ukraine and confirmed that Ukrainians “will not be left alone in a difficult situation.”
On April 24, 2021, a meeting of Ms Malgozhata Gosievska was held with representatives of the PLATFORM FOR THE RELEASE OF POLITICAL PRISONERS and relatives of prisoners in ORDLO.
Ihor Kozlovskyi, Akhtem Chiygoz, Oleg Sentsov, and Volodymyr Balukh thanked Ms Małgorzata Gosiewska for her constant support in defence of Ukraine’s independence.
