Scientist, religious scholar, candidate of historical sciences, poet, prose writer, and public activist. Author of over 200 and famous scientific and artistic works (including over 50 books).
On January 27, 2016, he was captured by militants of the so-called “DPR” and was held captive for almost two years (700 days) and released during an exchange in 2017—prisoner of conscience.

Member of the Expert Council on Freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations of the State Service of Ukraine on Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience Active member of the Scientific Society named after Shevchenko in Ukraine.
